The course, for which an application for accreditation will be submitted for the purposes of mandatory annual professional development, explores unlawful conduct in football and the related contractual and disciplinary consequences.
The course will examine the main forms of unlawful conduct and the disciplinary system, with a focus on doping, unsporting behaviour, disciplinary violations, and the responsibilities of players and other registered individuals.
It will also address betting and sporting offences, sponsorships in football, and the responsibilities of football agents, including recent regulatory developments and relevant case law.
A specific section will focus on contractual stability and Article 17 of the RSTP, breaches during the protected period, and the consequences for players and clubs.
Finally, the course will examine Financial Fair Play and the responsibilities of clubs, concluding with a roundtable discussion on the relationship between contractual and disciplinary liability, through the analysis of practical cases and an exchange of views among the speakers.
